About The Good Therapy Group

A Small Team You Can Trust

The Good Therapy Group was founded by Sophie Ruffer in 2018. Sophie wanted to create the sort of service she would want for her own family – one where people feel listened to, supported and cared for, while receiving expert help to achieve their goals.

Today, we support many older adults in their own homes, care homes and community settings across Worthing and the surrounding areas.

Most of our work comes through recommendations from healthcare professionals, former patients and their families, something we are incredibly grateful for.

What Matters To Us

We believe that getting older should not mean giving up the things you enjoy.

Whether someone’s goal is regaining independence, maintaining mobility, improving confidence or enhancing their quality of life, our role is to help them achieve the goals that matter most to them.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach. We take the time to get to know each person, understand what is important to them and work together to find the best way forward.

Long-Term Support

Whether someone needs support for a few weeks or many years, we are here to help at every stage.

🤝 Here When You Need Us

Some people need our support for a few sessions after surgery or illness. Others continue to work with us for many years as their needs change over time.

Our Approach

Every new enquiry starts with a conversation.

Whether the initial contact comes from the person themselves, a family member or a friend, we take the time to listen, understand what is important and discuss how we may be able to help.

Many of the people who contact us are looking for physiotherapy, rehabilitation or balance support for someone they care about.

Whether someone needs our support for a few weeks, a few months or many years, our focus remains the same: helping people get the most out of life at every stage.
